Janelle's Bio:


Janelle Taylor, is one-half of the husband and wife musical duo,           The J. Taylors, from Ft. Wayne, IN.  Janelle is a full-time entertainer who makes a living singing, playing guitar, ukelele and piano for audiences of all sizes at festivals, bars, restaurants, corporate events, private parties, weddings, churches, senior care facilities, and anywhere else live music is needed!  She has even sung the National Anthem several times for Tin Caps games.  She & her husband Jonathan have been performing music professionally full-time since 2009.  View their website at: 

Janelle has performed all over NE IN, OH, MI, NC & FL, along with guest performances in MN and Germany.  She covers artists as diverse as: Etta James, Doris Day, Diana Ross, Patsy Cline, Judy Garland, Linda Ronstadt, Aretha Franklin, Loretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, Janis Joplin, Sheryl Crow, Miranda Lambert, Sara Evans & Adele. 

With degrees in English (B.A.) & Secondary Ed. (B.S.) from  Huntington University, she taught hundreds of high schoolers & middle schoolers before starting J Taylor Talent, a music entertainment business, in 2009.  

In college she toured for four years all over the mid-west with the 4-part ensemble One Voice.  In 1997 the group performed in Nicaragua, Honduras & Equador on a musical missions trip. 

A graduate of Homestead High School, she was a 3-year show choir member, participated in yearly ISSMA competitions, and was the only soprano from the choir to sing, both junior & senior years, with the Heartland Chamber Chorale, in their presentations of Bach’s Magnificat and Handel’s Messiah

Jonathan and Janelle are launching a new musical entity, The Holy Rebels, with all-original music they have co-written.  They plan to release their debut album in 2018.  Check out their music at:
